UX/UI Director, Digital and Communications

Client/Agency:

The client is a very large, forward thinking digital and communications full servicing agency with a portfolio of Government, Corporate, Tourism, FMCG and Entertainment clients. 

Strategy and Client Management:

  • Transform ideas, business opportunities, research, and creative vision into tangible products and services that provide clear, usable, useful and desirable outcomes for users 
  • Lead and establish best practices and design thinking/process – driving best digital experiences 
  • Responsible for managing customer interviews, user testing and creating user stories/flows and personas. 
  • Develop, present and defend concept and design proposals to clients and internal teams 

 Team Management:

  • Overall management of the larger UX/UI team (many of whom will be remote)
  • Collaborate with and support the content team 
  • Support with the learning and development within the UI team as needed for the duration of the project
  • Support the senior project team in defining and setting up all required UX/UI tools and processes 

  Documentation Delivery:

  • Gather and evaluate all ranges of user requirements in collaboration with content strategy, project director, product managers and development teams 
  • Create all the relevant documents that will help the delivery of the project from an upfront UX Perspective
  • Create user and process flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and mockups that clearly articulate UX Strategy
  • Set up methodology and conduct usability testing
  • Incorporate feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings in order to enhance user experience
  • Work with UI designers to implement designs and ensure they are on strategy
  • Work with developers to ensure UX is clearly delivered.
  • Develop testing plans and hypothesis to ensure strategy is delivered to the business and end users.

UI and Motion Design:

  • Establish the look and feel for various interfaces
  • Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints
  • Experience with transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction

Salary: 

  • 28,000AED+ PCM plus other benefits
