Client: 

A full service, digital performance marketing agency based in Brixton, London. This agency strongly believe that data doesn’t need to be dry and creativity can reap results. Their approach combines these two powerful forces and allows them to deliver imaginative top down digital strategies that engage, convert and, most importantly, perform. This agency have a team of 40 specialists across paid media, SEO and content and web design and development.

 

Role Breakdown:

Strategy: 65% Implementation: 25% Training & New Business: 10%

One of the fastest growing companies on the Inc. 500 and one of the agencies flagship clients across PPC and SEO

Your role: Strategy 70% | Implementation 30%

Strategy: Leading and developing senior client relationships (main point of contact) with senior support including PPC Strategy lead, devising long term channel growth strategies and client roadmaps strategy: Team operations, devising and implementing robust process and ways of working to maximise team effectiveness

Implementation: Responsible for effective implementation of strategic initiatives with executive support

Implementation: Day to day spend management and optimisation of £XM PPC accounts with executive support

Second client:

A global brand and the agencies biggest paid media client across PPC, Display and Programmatic Display

Your Role: Strategy 70% | Implementation 30%

Strategy: Leading and developing senior client relationships (main point of contact) with senior support including PPC Strategy lead, devising long term channel growth strategies, client roadmaps and leading QBRs strategy: Working collaboratively with the paid social team to devise plan and implement new cross media initiatives e.g. Spotify

Implementation: Responsible for effective implementation of strategic initiatives with executive support

Implementation: Day to day spend management and optimisation of £XM PPC accounts with executive support

Third client:

12.5% of time

As well as leading the agencies two biggest paid media account we would allocate around 10-15% of time to work on a ‘different’ account, we want every account manager to have a diverse portfolio so this would likely be a smaller, owner founder, e-commerce business (to balance the portfolio). This would provide fantastic experience of owning the planning and implementation of digital go-to-market digital strategies.

Training and New Business | 12.5% of time

Around 10%-15% of your time would be allocated to training through the newly incepted academy including investment in external training and time allocation for self-learning (e.g. Udemy courses). There is a ‘board’ of people in the agency led by the owners that help devise training initiatives for the academy, this is open for anyone to join as we feel it’s critical that our growth and development as marketeers is heavily informed by what the wider team feels is important to them and the agency

Contributing to their website, not mandatory but everyone is encouraged to write content for their blog; supported by a fantastic content marketing team it as a great way to explore a new industry/channel etc. and raise your profile both inside and outside the agency.

At any one time the agency is working on strategic responses to brief for new prospective clients, we focus our efforts on innovative, fun, brands that share our values. You would have expose to this immediately from devising the strategy to creating and delivering the pitch (note this is not mandatory in the role and you can decide how involved you want to be in new business).

Salary: 

£33,000 – £38,000 Dependent on experience

Benefits: Salary + Pension, holidays: 25 days, + 1pa (max),

Academy: development plan, annual review & quarterly check ins.

Commissions: For new colleagues & clients HR/H&S: HR dept onretainer, staff handbook
